BOGUS BREAKFAST

Bogus Breakfast was formed in 2003 by Andrew Diggle and Andrew Woodcroft. Originally playing covers, songwriting partnerships developed between the two founder members and Richard Friswell. This led to the release of two albums: ‘Let it Ring’ in 2009 and ‘Music inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’ in 2015. Sadly, suffering from muscular dystrophy, Rick died in 2017. In 2023, a new album, ‘The Conversation’ was released under the Bogus Breakfast label. Amongst the songs on this album is ‘La Tristesse des d’Urberville’. This, with a lot of deeply-appreciated effort from Katarzyna Kempińska, puts an unfinished song by Rick into a solo piano piece. In 2024 Andrew Diggle and Katarzyna Kempińska collaborated to compose a piano sonata in F♯ Minor.
